On 16-17 May 2023, PARATUS is invited to the European Forum on Risk Governance and Societal Resilience event organised within the CERIS framework.

A range of projects funded by the Horizon Europe Civil Security for Society programme are developing tools and solutions in support to enhanced societal resilience, in particular for increasing risk awareness and preparedness of citizens to any kind of disasters and improving risk management and governance. The Disaster-Resilient Societies (DRS) projects cluster, which includes PARATUS, will disseminate new findings and practical information of direct relevance to municipal authorities and first responders in the framework of the European Forum on Governance of Major Risk & Societal Resilience organised in the framework of CERIS to facilitate this dissemination and interactions among the scientific community and city’s representatives.

On the 17th of May PARATUS participates in the panels discussing topics such as: the challenges on assessment of disaster risks and disaster risk management for local and regional authorities, as well as systemic risk assessment.
