D1.4 Guidelines on the actionable assessment of hazard interactions in compound / cascading events
This Deliverable D1.4 provides an overview on the assessment of hazard interactions in compounding events as well as the applicability of existing guidelines, their advantages and disadvantages in different circumstances. It is part of Work Package 1, “Learning from the past: understanding the dynamic and interactive conditions of risk”, which focuses on leveraging historical disaster data to improve multi-hazard impact forecasting. This involves analysing how past hazardous events have impacted various sectors and understanding the complex interactions between hazards.
